My engine is leaking oil, even after I replaced the valve cover gasket.

The oil is usually leaking from the distributor housing. The fix is to (1) remove housing, (2) remove and discard old o-ring, (3) place bead of silicone in o-ring groove, (4) reassemble...the leak should be cured.

 

When I turn the key to start the engine, the starter does not engage — it only clicks. What causes this and what can I do to fix it?

This is caused by poor current from an aging electrical system. The cure is a relay kit, called the Clicky Starter Fix which will give 100% of the battery power to the starter.

Why is my transmission shift lever loose and wobbly?
This is caused by a broken locating bolt in the shift lever tower.
